Special Education Teacher, Public Service Cosmetologist, Cosmetology Instructor
3. What skills, passions, or interests do you bring that others might not know about?
I enjoy arts and crafts and thinking of creative ideas
4. What inspired you to join the sorority, and what keeps you engaged today?
Inspired by Soror relatives, other professional friends and associates helping people as I joined in to support in community & civic organizations for change and well being of community.
What keeps me interested? Honor to my AKA Founders' and All other Sorors who over 118 years has given committed, and devoted service to all mankind. In the Legacy For the best of womanhood around the world.
5. What is the greatest change observed?
Continued Growth in Membership, Phenomenal progress and achievements across the regions as well in our local chapter.
6. Can you share a moment or achievement here that you’re especially proud of?
I am vey proud over & over of XKO African American Speech Exposition, celebrating our admired heroes. Uplifting the youth.
7. Who or what has influenced your journey the most, inside or outside this group?
Witnessing women committed, devoted and inspiring to be uplifting working to elevate awareness, both inside and outside this group.
8. What advice would you give to new members who are just getting started?
Have sisterly engagements, be friendly, be dependable, supportive, and ready to lead by example with compassion and trust.
